Xavier Catasús
Head of Business Development Wellness Industries
Degree in Geological Sciences at the University of Barcelona. He has developed practically his entire professional career since 1994 in the Health sector linked to ICT. Initially in consultancy and pre-sales tasks and, later, evolving towards more commercial (less technical) tasks as head of a business unit and commercial management. He has experience in the entire sales cycle of products, software solutions and services, medical devices, etc. He currently works as a Business Development Manager in the Wellness sector.

Reformulation of the genotyping technique using xMAP technology, which is capable of analysing multiple Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) variants to be used in generating dietary plans tailored to the needs of each individual, and customised face creams based on their genes.

Development of a research and flexible tool to collect and analyze parameters of the walk and relate them to the risk of falling of elderly people.
TRUSTsroke
The TRUSTroke project proposes a novel platform based on artificial intelligence, trustworthy by design and privacy-preserving, to assist clinicians, patients and caregivers in the management of acute and chronic phases of ischemic stroke.
The project is based on the integration of clinical and patient-reported data, outcomes and experiences for a trustworthy assessment of disease progression and risks, enabling more personalised and effective stroke management, as well as providing inter-hospital benchmarking and sharing of best practices.
