The LIFE PRISTINE project has been present at the 13th International Congress of the Spanish Desalination and Reuse Association (AEDyR), celebrated on June 13th-15th in Granada (Spain).

Maria del Mar Micó, project partner from ACCIONA, introduced LIFE PRISTINE during her speech, entitled “Innovative and Versatile Integrated Solution to Remove Contaminants of Emerging Concern in Water Treatment Systems”.

In particular, she gave an overview of the project, describing the contaminant families that the consortium is focusing on, the two demonstration scenarios or the components of the PRISTINE integrated solution.

Maria del Mar’s talk was held during the technical session “Pollutants of Emerging Concern, Micropollutants and Product Developments”, moderated by Daniel Prats, from the University of Alicante and Elena Crespo, from AEDyR.

The AEDyR International Congress is a forum where the latest innovations, research and developments in desalination, reuse and water treatment have been presented, as well as a setting to put experts in these fields in contact.
