The Sup3rForm project has been showcased at the annual TGA4 Steel Applications and Solutions for Existing and New Markets meeting, held online on December 12th, 2024.

David Frómeta, Head of Mechanical Behaviour of the Unit of Metallic and Ceramic Materials from Eurecat, represented Sup3rForm as the project’s coordinator and delivered a presentation with an overview of the initiative, introducing the work performed to exploit the full potential of 3rd generation Q&P and medium-Mn steels with superior formability for lightweight structural applications in future mobility.

Apart from Sup3rForm, nine other projects funded by the Research Fund for Coal and Steel (RFCS) of the European Commission were presented in the TGA4 meeting: CONNECT4C, DreamFAB, GREENVESTS, iAMFat, SMARTWELD, STWIN, HYSCORE, SafeH2PIPE and WarP-AHSS.

The event has also provided a platform for projects to exchange information, identify shared challenges, and explore synergies that could lead to future joint activities.
