The Sharework project, coordinated by Eurecat, works towards providing collaborative robots the necessary intelligence and methods for an effective adoption of Human Robot Collaboration (HRC) in industrial shopfloors with no fences.
This first of a series of training sessions aiming at training the next generation of Human-Robot Collaboration researchers and disseminating project advancements will be focused on perception. Contents include the presentation of several techniques to increase collaborative robots’ knowledge and skills to perceive, comprehend and reason about the surrounding environment. The concepts presented will include several technologies and methodologies to enhance the robot ability for the detection of the objects and humans in the environment, the identification of humans’ posture and activities, understand the human behaviour or model desired motions for our robot.
