Development of a new system that monitors parameters in elderly and sick people with Parkinson’s in order to enhance the personalization of treatments and improve the quality of life patients.
The REVEL-PARK project, which applies IoT technology, collects data from devices such as motion sensors and other environmental parameters, and provides them to professional in order to improve treatments for each person through continuous and reliable information.
The information obtained by the project also allows that caregivers can take better decisions and patients and their families can live with more autonomy and have a better quality of life.
REVEL-PARK, which contributes to the ACTIVAGE European project, takes advantage of the Ekauri® and Ekenku® platforms, developed by Eurecat, which allow remote monitoring of habits, routines and the health status of older or dependent people in their daily routine, and integrates an innovative medical device STAT-ON®, which measures specific parameters for Parkinson’s disease.
The project has counted with the participation of Eurecat, the Fundació Salut of the Consorci Sanitari del Maresme, the Consorci Sanitari Alt Penedès i Garraf and the Sense4Care company.
