Sorlipertu, the Sorli Group’s tool developed in conjunction with the Eurecat technology centre which leverages artificial intelligence to enable healthy and balanced eating while helping to save money, has been selected as one of the 20 Best Innovations of 2024 in FMCG by the Cerdà Institute. The award was announced at the 8th FMCG Innovation Observatory (OIGC) event held at the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
Innovation to transform the FMCG sector
The OIGC has reviewed over 350 innovative initiatives by surveying 1,200 entities in the industry and finally selected 20 disruptive cases led by 26 organisations. These innovations address today’s major challenges: sustainability, personalisation and health, three crucial issues for contemporary consumers.
Sorlipertu is an example of digitalisation in food shopping, helping families to make the most of their time, cut costs and enhance their nutritional habits.
How does Sorlipertu work?
Available for free through the Sorliclic app, Sorlipertu enables users to customise their weekly menus based on their lifestyle, food preferences, intolerances and level of physical exercise; get healthy meal recommendations drawn up by a team of nutritionists; automatically generate a shopping list with the ingredients needed for each menu, and shop directly from the Sorliclic app or use the list to go to any Sorli supermarket.
Every week the tool crafts a new menu tailored to each user’s needs with the option of altering the dishes to suit their preferences.
