Partners from the LIFE PRISTINE project met at the facilities of ACCIONA in El Prat de Llobregat (Spain) and online on the occasion of the second monitoring meeting, which was held on July 4th, 2024.
During the fruitful assembly, supervised by an expert designated by the European Commission, the consortium presented the work performed during the first half of the project and introduced the steps to be taken within the next months.
After the meeting, a visit was performed to the pilot workshop, whose assembly is starting to take place. The project’s solution will first be tested in a wastewater treatment plant in Murcia, and then it will travel to Bilbao for its demonstration in a drinking water scenario.
LIFE PRISTINE is developing a technological solution to eliminate contaminants of emerging concern in the integral water cycle through the integration of adsorption, nanofiltration and advanced oxidation processes with virtual sensors, process modelling and decision support tools.
