I-DAYS VIC EURECAT

European championship of innovation in the field of health.

The i-Days promote innovation in health among university students through dozens of programs of one or two days that take place in European academic institutions.

Students from all academic backgrounds receive an introduction to practical health innovation tools and compete in teams to tackle real health challenges posed by EIT Health, local organisations, private companies or start-ups.

The winning team of each i-Day attends the Winners’ Event, a final competition that unites students from all over Europe.

Specifically, the i-Days Vic begin with the aim of finding solutions to the challenge of democratising access to hearing health, devising physical, social or digital accessibility responses for people with hearing impairments.

Eurecat participates in the i-Days Vic through its Digital Health Unit, in charge of dynamisation and mentoring tasks.

The i-Days Vic are organised by a consortium made up of Eurecat, the University of Vic, the Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute, the TIC Salut Social Foundation and Kiversal.

The goal is for i-Days Vic to take place over four consecutive years, between 2022 and 2025.
