The fifth XPatient Barcelona Congress, to be held online on 29-30 September, will address new technological solutions and success stories impacting the improvement of the patient experience and will underscore the learnings of patients and professionals during the COVID-19 health crisis.

The health crisis caused by coronavirus has sped up the digitalisation of health, something that fosters “an expert and empowered patient with continuous care and doctors able to make more informed and precise decisions,” says Felipe Miralles, Director of Eurecat’s eHealth Unit. “This cuts time spent on routine tasks and travel.”

From the patient experience standpoint, “we see that by using these technologies, patients feel more supported and contact with the healthcare system and professionals increases,” he adds.
