Ana Jiménez-Banzo, Head of Innovation Management & Technology Transfer Innovation Department at ACCIONA, presented the LIFE PRISTINE project during the webinar “Microcontaminants: how to manage them”, part of the Isle Utilities Webinar Series, which ran on February 1st, 2023.
During her presentation, she gave an overview of LIFE PRISTINE, introducing its objectives and partners. She also talked about the integrated and versatile PRISTINE Solution, the demonstration sites and the list of contaminants that the consortium will be focusing on.
Moreover, Ana Jiménez-Banzo discussed the concept of emerging contaminants and their importance in the water sector, pointing out the need for their removal from streams.

This webinar, focused on the management of microcontaminants in water bodies, also included interventions from the experts Blanca Antizar (Isle Utilities), Sonia Suárez Martínez (Universidade de Santiago de Compostela) and Pedro Simón (ESAMUR). The session was chaired by Alejandro Maceira (iAgua and Smart Water Magazine).
