COOPHS partner ArcelorMittal has displayed project flyers in their stand at the CHS2 Conference celebrated from 27th to 29th of May in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. The project materials were handed out to all attendees approaching the booth.

The conference, organized by LTU and Eurecat, in cooperation with the Association for Iron & Steel Technology, gathered 140 participants in a mix from industry and academia. A total of 69 technical papers were presented, covering the whole value chain of hot forming processes including performance of finished components.

The conference opened with a round table discussion where OEMs, TIER1 and steelmakers discussed the future of the hot-forming technology. The discussion gave insights about the future trends of the automotive sector and how hot stamping can help in the transformations of the transport and steelmaking sectors.
