Local Products Hub supports entrepreneurs through specialized training and mentoring to foster the creation and growth of companies based on innovation, technology, and new business models in the agri-food sector.
The program promotes food production using local resources, linked to the values of the region, and fosters new, more innovative, digital, and sustainable business models.
Specifically, the program addresses the entire value chain of the agri-food sector, including agricultural production, food processing, marketing, and logistics of agri-food products in the Empordà region.
The program offers 100 hours of training in disruptive technology, sustainability and business management, providing entrepreneurs with the necessary tools to lead new, smarter, sustainable, flexible and connected challenges, contributing to the competitiveness of the territory.
It also has 60 hours of specialised mentoring, where industry experts advise participants in the development of their projects, helping them to validate business models, accelerate growth and access new opportunities within the innovation ecosystem.
Local Products Hub is a project of Forallac Progrés, SAM, a municipal company of the City of Forallac and Eurecat.
