The NewAIMS project hosted on January 12th a specialized “Steel Mission” workshop for students from the IES Virgen de la Paloma, Madrid. The participants, currently enrolled in the Intermediate Degree in Laboratory Operations, engaged with researchers to explore the practical applications of metallurgy and advanced manufacturing.

The session, led by Ana Santana, Guillermo Larrosa, and Nisrine El Hamouchi (NewAIMS) in collaboration with the Materalia Group and CENIM-CSIC researchers, mirrored the technical dissemination framework used during Science Week last November. The curriculum specifically highlighted Additive Manufacturing and the latest project advancements, bridging the gap between laboratory studies and industrial innovation.

By integrating NewAIMS research into these vocational training programs, the consortium continues to support the development of the next generation of laboratory technicians and industrial specialists.
