PAE PYMEdia

The PAE PYMEdia project conceded to the Barcelona Media Foundation (taken over on 1 May 2015 by the Eurecat Foundation), capitalized on the centre’s experience in the presentation and execution of projects financed by the European Commission, with the aim of supporting audiovisual SMEs in the area to increase their competitiveness and innovation capacity through their participation in R&D+i financing tenders offered by the European Framework Programme.

In line with the objectives of the INNO EUROPE programme, PAE PYMEdia fostered the competitiveness of small and medium sized companies in the audiovisual sector through a personalized service by the “European Projects Office” created specifically with this aim.

This department, which received a €116,319 grant, offered companies information on tenders in the field of research  with European funds, as well as consultancy and assistance during the entire process of preparation and presentation of R&D+i projects.

The PAE PYMEdia programme was very warmly welcomed by the audiovisual business sector, and in particular, by SMEs, who especially valued the opportunities that European tenders offered them in terms of innovation and in helping them improve their innovative capacity in general.
