The DICAMI project aims to generate a control system capable of memorizing the different electrical responses of a humidity sensor depending on the materials that make up the compound feed, interpolating the response of the system according to the stored calibrations. DICAMI provides a common response to all systems, regardless of the type of mixer or manufacturing system, obtaining a response based on the main components of the food. Another objective of the project is the [...]

PORTS4ALL

2022-09-16T08:41:07+02:00

Restoration of marine ecosystems of port infrastructures PORTS4ALL is an industrial research project that aims to offer a comprehensive multi-technological solution to transform grey infrastructures (ports, offshore wind farms...) into blue infrastructures (marine oasis). This transformation will be achieved through the restoration of degraded and polluted spaces, the recovery of lost biodiversity and the proposition of adaptation and mitigation strategies to tackle the effects of climate change. To achieve this main goal, the technological members of the consortium combine research in four different areas: Research and evaluation of new techniques and technologies for the generation and [...]

QR Connecting consumer

2022-06-17T10:19:02+02:00

Technical feasibility study of the use of different technologies to improve the connection and dialogue with the retail and foodservice consumer. The QR Connecting consumer project has evaluated the possibility of using QR codes in the food sector to provide the final consumer with additional information and additional content about the products they consume. The study is based on four axes: immersive experience (360º videos, augmented reality and 3D sound), nutritional, environmental and relational. The QR Connecting consumer project has studied the feasibility of technologies such as augmented reality and 3D sound to highlight both the [...]

NHoA

2023-02-24T08:19:51+01:00

Development of a socially intelligent assistance robot to help the elderly relieve loneliness at home. The Never Home Alone (NHoA) project aims to help seniors by relieving loneliness at home, maintaining healthy habits and encouraging them to interact with the community. The system will also protect, assist and monitor the evolution of each person in a personalised way. The overall goal of NHoA is to co-design a socially intelligent care robot as a key to patient robustness, adaptability, acceptance and commitment. The NHoA robot will be an embodied support actor who feels the social and emotional [...]

EFENERVI

2023-05-11T13:01:21+02:00

The EFENERVI project aims to evaluate the hybridisation of technologies based on renewable energies and high-performance equipment to meet the energy demand of the production process in the production of wine and cava, as well as the optimal operating strategies of its process and consumption, in order to maximise energy efficiency as well as strategies for optimising demand, based on a series of technical, economic and environmental indicators. Promoting the innovation and sustainability of the wine-making sector, the project works to experimentally demonstrate the economic and energy viability of the solutions studied in the pilot facilities.
