The FAMPAI project develops and manufactures, with advanced processes, powdered materials of a metallic, intermetallic and ceramic nature, with a crystalline, amorphous structure, for industrial applications. The project focuses on shaping pieces by means of powder metallurgy and on the treatment and functionalisation of surfaces by means of coverings deposited by projection. The FAMPAI project should enable these powdered materials to be manufactured and applied, in the hope that Catalonia will become an international benchmark in the production of powder with high added value. Eurecat has participated in the project through its technological New Manufacturing Processes [...]

One of the most notable aspects of the project is [...]
IMAQUA
EurecatEQZ2019-11-27T12:34:03+01:00The IMAQUA project develops monitoring and supervision tools allowing for integrated water management, from capture to the point of consumption, ensuring quality and minimising losses during distribution. The tools developed will be integrated within an ICT platform comprising a system capable of increasing operability and managing water infrastructure knowledge, tools to monitor and supervise pollutants offline and online (samplers, systems, cyber-physical systems), network supervision tools and support for decision-making so as to improve the efficiency of current management and planning strategies and display simulation tools to provide water managers with access to comprehensive information about all [...]
IoE Crops
EurecatEQZ2020-12-14T12:32:59+01:00The IoECrops project improves the productivity, efficiency and resilience of large-scale crop production by supporting agricultural management through the use of technologies based on the Internet of Things (IoT). Over the course of the project, sensors were installed and tractors, seed drills and bale harvesters were connected to the Internet along with the irrigation and fertilization systems used in different fields, in order to improve the productivity of large-scale crop production. The sensors used gateways located on the machines or in the fields themselves (all of which were located in Catalonia) to connect to a cloud-based [...]
KETRENOVIN
EurecatEQZ2019-02-15T12:21:25+01:00The KETRENOVIN project has obtained ingredients and products from new sources in order to respond to the challenges facing the health and nutrition industries, with demonstrable effectiveness on the health and wellbeing of animals and consumers alike. Over the course of the project, the healthiest supplements have been identified and developed with a view to improving the wellbeing of consumers or reducing the risk of developing a pathology. Additionally, innovative supplements and feeds have been developed to increase the value of the meat and its nutritional qualities, while also improving the health and wellbeing of animals [...]
MICROBIOTA
EurecatEQZ2019-02-12T13:49:20+01:00The MICROBIOTA project has experimentally developed and researched various types of probiotics, prebiotics and symbiotics that act on the intestinal microbiota, with the aim of improving the health of consumers and livestock (poultry and swine) and preventing risk factors for specific pathologies without losing organoleptic qualities and while maintaining the stability of the end product. The probiotics, prebiotics and symbiotics obtained have been validated as ingredients that have a beneficial impact on the health of women at various stages in their lives, as well as on the health of newborns and people with chronic renal insufficiency, [...]
PERFILS
EurecatEQZ2019-02-08T08:26:52+01:00The PERFILS project is a response to the growing demand for ingredients, foodstuffs and food supplements for sufferers of a variety of physiological conditions, such as allergies, intolerances and pathologies, which demand certain nutritional requirements and for which there is a very limited range of suitable and safe food products. The project involved the development of ingredients and products that respond to the particular dietary needs of different groups: people at risk of metabolic pathologies such as obesity, hypertension and metabolic syndrome; people with an intolerance of histamine or lactose; and people with chronic renal insufficiency. [...]
REFER
EurecatEQZ2019-02-01T09:09:19+01:00The REFER project promotes energy cost-reduction and greater efficiency in residential and service buildings by monitoring and optimizing the conditioning systems of residential buildings and, on the other hand, incorporating to service buildings intelligent and interoperable energy management systems and new innovative solutions for the generation and storage of renewable energy. During the project, energy measurement, generation and storage systems have been implemented, and more than 17 products have been developed, granting energy flexibility to buildings in ongoing rehabilitation processes. REFER has also allowed to improve technologies that participate in the energy flexibility of the buildings [...]
