The objective of 3DELECPRINT is to develop an integrated flexible robotic platform to print electronic sensors and/or cables on geometric complex rigid parts in 3D. The resulting parts are made of different materials, including metal, composites, and ceramic. The printing system to be used for the project is based on a spray head for ultrasound. The EXORAPI projects aims to develop, implement, and validate a walking EXOskeleton for use in children affected by Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The objective is to improve their quality of life and delay the decline of their physical condition. The ILUMINIO project intends to set the foundations for the industrialization of a new generation of intelligent aluminium profiles. ILUMINIO aims to demonstrate the viability of functional printing on rigid, metallic substrates such as aluminium. The expansion of tropical diseases such as dengue, malaria, and more recently, Zika, is becoming a continuous growing global problem according to all the world health associations and departments. One of the main vectors in the transmission of these diseases on a worldwide scale are mosquito bites. The primary aim of the RETOS Microrep project is to develop intelligent microcapsules that include mosquito repellent and fragrances to prevent the spread of tropical diseases. The objective of the Interacciona project is to design and manufacture intelligent labels powered by NFC technology. These labels are designed for use on wine and liquor bottles. They can be controlled through a mobile app and integrate active functions such as temperature and humidity sensors, and electro-lighting components. Additionally, Interacciona is developing an electronic control and feeding circuit for the labels designed for large-scale distribution. Innoqua project develops the first modular system in the world to imitate the biological process of water purification (that earthworms, zooplankton, and microorganisms do) in order to reuse wastewater for agriculture or human activity in developing areas. The Erica project aims to improve competitiveness of SMEs in the field of efficient and sustainable manufacturing through cooperation and knowledge transfer between clusters and technology centres.
